Seriously the best fish & chips I’ve had in a long time! I got a meal deal at £4.50 which was fish, chips and curry sauce. The fish was cooked to perfection, flaky and the batter was crispy. Chips were golden and not greasy and the curry sauce was so tasty 😋 Would 100% recommend 👍🏼

The best fish I've had in years! Chips were great too. Really can't wait to try their other foods as there is so much more on offer than ya normal chippy! 10/10 recommend. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for... This place is great!

Best fish+ chips around! Huge portions, great value. Everything freshly cooked to order. Oh+ the fritters are to die for! Can't believe how much filling there is zctually in one! A meal in itself. Lovely friendly staff + great service.

Best place to get something different. The best spamwich around my hubby loves them. The cornedbeef one too is amazing. We have started to visit every week and try a different fritter. Amazing and we have even had food delivered and it was hot and didn’t take long at all. Really impressed keep up the good work guys xxx

We saw Hoppy's ad in Facebook, the amazing fritters called out to my other half!!! And after disappointing food from our local chippies, decided to give them a try (we're in Knottingley) A lovely bloke answered the phone and took our order, and it was ready when we arrived (freshly fried, not dried out on the hot shelf!!) WOW!!!!!!! Chips were perfect. Fish were hot, meaty and in lovely crisp batter. And the fritters!!!! He didn't look up or pass a word from first fork full to wiping his plate clean with bread and butter!!! We had 3x kids fish and chips - great value kids meals!!!! I had a large fish and chips and my other half had a scotch egg fritter, spamwich, chips and curry. Portions were generous, food was perfect, fresh and tasty. We all agreed we'd be 100% ordering again, and other half is on his way to collect our second order this week. Very very highly recommended!!!!! Trying a new chippy is a minefield, but Hoppy's have everything absolutely bang on - prices, food, portions, customer service. 10/10

Great chippy, small fish n chips with side for under a fiver you can't go wrong. Only chippy in Castleford that I'm aware of that does a battered Mars Bar 😋👍
